BUVI Scandinavia has signed a Contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration
BUVI Scandinavia has secured a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration to deliver Evologics’ Sonobot 5 unmanned surface vessel (USV) to the Swedish Armed Forces.
The USVs will be delivered in autumn 2026 and will undergo extensive testing and evaluation in both coastal environments and inland environments. The contract also enables further delivers of Evologics Sonobot USVs. BUVI Scandinavia, Evologics and FMV will work together to adapt the system to Swedish operational needs.
This contract will enable wider deployment of the Sonobot USV within the Swedish Armed Forces, supporting missions such as hydrographic surveying and underwater reconnaissance prior to wet gap crossing.
